Greetings:

The murder of the two Italian women in Sal is one of the most vicious concussion hit Cabo Verde has to yet to experience.
The perpetrators did not only barbarically murder two women but in the process they selfishly stabbed their country and fellow citizens in the back by creating a diplomatic embarrassment and tainting the good name and reputation of CV and especially the island of Sal.
If found guilty hopefully in the fairest process possible, I believe that the country should make an example out of this incident.
Ultimately, this incident has propelled Cabo Verde into an international podium in which it has an opportunity to take this terrible incident and produce a positive sensible display of its society, culture, people and solidarity.
I just hope that those in charge of this matter would also approach it from a position of strength and not of one inferiority complex.

It’s just a matter of perspective from a logical and realistic point of view.

One of the criminals had a love affair with one of the italian girls, according to the authorities they even lived together.

There is still an investigation to be done and make clear all the context and events.

This is one of the few instances I wish Cape Verde had death penalty. The 3 savages that did that cruelty deserve nothing but capital punishment.

This horrendus crime will have alot of attention for its nature and for the fact that it has to do with foreign citizens (Italy) killed in a foreign country and therefore many people may read different implications as a result of it. But this crime is no different than many others that happened with Capeverdean cictizens in the last four years, in Cabo Verde. The only thing that I hope is that, now that CV government has a reason to be scared, the Prime Minister to react appropriately in response to the demands of a more modern, equiped and educated security systems because otherwise the Turism Project will die before its birth.

it is a sad event, and if it could be a trigger for the cv governement to try to tackle more seriously crime in cv...

Nevertheless there is crimes everywhere in the world, and cv is not the exception....

I think that in respect for the memory of the two young girls, we shouldn't be talking about this before the details are known
