Mr. Salah, can you imagine if the American Blacks had known this history when you were growing up in boston? You certainly wouldn't have gotten into so much verbal and physical confrontations with them. Life would have been easier. I know in my case specifically I would not have had to constantly explain the history of Cabo Verdeans to merikanus di kor who, upon hearing the word "cape verdean", seem to automatically wonder in their minds whether or not I know that Cabo Verde is essecially the craddle of the African diaspora. See, Mr. Manu Salah, I'm beginning to think that most African Americans know this particular historical role of Cabo Verde instinctually, but they are not able to articulate it. As a result, when they encounter those of us who are relatively unlearned and unwilling to associate with them, they(the AA) in turn, become hostile towards us.
What are your thoughts on this hypothesis?

Nos tudo e merikanu di kor. When your in the Americas. Our brothers and sisters in the avangarde movement of African unity and Pan Africanism are moving forward and upward. As I have said many times it is a matter of understanding.Take for example Malcolm X was a dear friend and spent much time with his CV friends from Boston to the Cape And taught many CV's who also Taught him
MInister Louis Farrakhan grew up in a community of muscian both West Indians and Caboverdeans. Horace Silver was a key element as was the saxphone giant Paul Gonsalves who played with Duke Ellington

Maybe you might be surprised to know how many CV's were americano di kor. Adjustments for survival. Not only did CV's go thru this charade for passing for white some time they were called (pinky). Many African Americans was also part of that game,it is still in our mist but not the same as before.
In the very early 1900 many CV's lived in the south called South water Geechees. The problem of division was caused by caucasians on both sides of the Atlantic.

The game was played on all of us regardless if you were from Cabo Verde or from the caribbean. Those who knew had no problem and some were brain washed to accept the masters word.

The Hon.Elijah Muhammad was aware of this trickery. Time bring about a change, revolution means to change and this is what is going on now.

We must all be about the business of educating and being patient in teaching, and this goes for every body. You have to know that many CV's also brought many problems to this question and we can see from what is writen on the forum there are those who prefer to be other then Caboverdianos or to connect with Africa. This is true about the struggle of African people. Many would like to be European rather being African we know why that is. Go to your dictionary see the difference about Black or White. We understand about racism. That game is over.

We are not concerned with that game we are against racism in any form.

The year 2000 a begining of new enlightenment some call it the resurrection. What we are looking for are good people who are against oppression,we are looking for responsible people to be in unity to make a better life for all humanity. I know there will be some who will say we are lying and we don't know what we are talking about, the change is here, call it by any name but as it is said a rose by any other name is still a rose.

Are you aware of how many ships thrown off course that left from Brava that ended up in the West Indies,or in Bermuda or any of the other Islands in the caribbean. That is so logical you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out. I am not going to reply to any nonsense to those who want to call me a liar out of their ignorance or racist philosophy.

My dear brothers and sisters we want to work for unity for CV's and for all people who want to make a better world.

That is what Jesus Christ was all about and that is what Cabral was all about and that is what I am all about.
Daddy Grace was about th same thing that is why he founded THE UNITED HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL PEOPLES.

DEUS KU NOS TUDO

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE INTO MATH AND REALITY.LET DEUS TAKE ON THIS MEANING.

DIALECTIC-ECLECTIC-UNIVERSAL-SCIENCE (Manu)

MALCOLM X SAID:" ..YOU CANNOT SEPERATE PEACE FROM FREEDOM
BECAUSE NO ONE CAN BE AT PEACE UNLESS HE HAS HIS FREEDOM."

THE GREAT ENTERTAINER PEARL BAILEY SAID:
" THE PREJUDICED PEOPLE CAN'T INSULT YOU BECAUSE THEY'RE
BLINDED BY THEIR OWN IGNORANCE."

DR. MARTIN LUTHER kING,JR SAID:
"WAR IS A POOR CHISEL TO CARVE OUT TOMMORROW."

THE GREAT FREDERICK DOUGLASS (ABOLITIONIST AND ORATOR) SAID:
" I GLORY IN CONFLICT,THAT I MAY HEREAFTER EXULT IN VICTORY."

Today we have many wonderful representatives from the Republic of Cabo Verde men and woman who are teaching and working to make a better Cabo Verde and for a better world for peace and for the salvation for humanity. Salvation only means to protect from harm.

BOA PAS GRACA DE DEUS.

Thank you all for your kindness.
Manu Salah Very Happy
