What is conventional thinking ? Conventional thinking is ordinary thinking.There's lots of wonders today because human beings had to work their brains overtime and complex things came out of that hard thinking or forced thinking.These people who've done this hard thinking founded schools,universities,academies...Etc.These learning places, have instructed billions of people and the humanity depends on this polished or sophisticated thinking.

Nobel, I don't know if I would agree with you when you say those brilliant minds that created great and advanced inventions used conventional thinking. Look at the example of Copermico and Galileu: on the contrary of the conventional Catholic thinking from their times, they unconventionally came out with these great ideas and theories that are in a large extent responsible for the progress of our civilization today.
So, I think your description of conventional thinking here is not very accurate.

Dear Mary perhaps I'm just slow but would you please explain who it was or what group gave us the thinking that advanced the thinking of the future? I am not sure if I understood it correctly.
