the statement below made by Citizen Kane above is not an accusation. It's a fact:
"held thousands Cape Verdeans in concentration camp like prisons, tortured them with their brutal and death weapon PM - Policia Militar. Their are the same ones that stole millions of dollars from the Cape Verdean people during 15 years, use the power to oppressed the poor farmer in Santo Antao and take their land and kill hundreds of them."

I mylself and my family flew to France and Holland because Pedro Pires put his "capangas" behind us because we refuse to give us our land in Ribeira Grande. My dad still has his shirts full of blood from to much "purrada" ( torture) from the militar police (PM). Ask the people from Santo Antao how much they suffered on the hands of the Pedro Pires's PAICV and them open your mouth. You really insulted e to try to ignore all the torture ordered by Pedro Pires.

Don't open your mouth and talk as if you don't know the story of the abuses that were ordered by Pedro Pires when he was the Prime Minister. Don't try to act that you know everything and try to shut people up here because you don't know what the people of Cape Verde suffered in the hands of this dictator. He now is acting like a decent because he feels guilty and shame of all he did. He may deceive you guys in America because most of you are from his island, Fogo, and you feel compeled to support him for keen ties. But we, from Santo Antao, will never forget the real person he is inside. I'd put him in the Axis of Evil that Bush labeled. I don't see no difference between him and Saddam. He just ordered the killings of fewer people than Saddam because Cape Verde has fewer people than Iraq.

Can we start a petition to Bush to go after him next once he takes cares of all this dictactors in Middle East?

We Africans we have been long torture by corrupts and evil dictators, fruit of the stupid ex- Soviet Union Communist mentality; some of them are worst than Saddam. They don't respect the people's democratic vote, they still elections by fraud and torture and kill all and everyone who protest their actions. We have suffer enough and we beleive that, like you Americans, we deserve to have our Godly given rights of freedom, liberty and prosperity.

So, can you start doing a little cleaning here in Africa. Since Cape Verde is the nearest country to US, can you stop by us in your trip to South Africa and sent all the PAICV corrupts and dictators to hell. You would do a great favor to Cape Verdeans and we promisse we wouldn't send our kids to your country, any more, where I know they have been causing a lot of problems.

We beleive you'll here our cries and will timely respond our desperate request.

We have monitored this situation and we find that what you report is false. At this moment we have very good relation with the Republic of Cabo Verde. Your request falls on deaf ears. Don't try to tell us what is going on in Cabo Verde we have the best military and the best agents both CIA and FBI and our International Police on this case.
What we do find is your lack of patriotism to a country that has suffered so much in the past and if it were not for PAIGC/PAICV and the late Dr. Amilcar Cabral and Freedom Fighter Pedro Pires who is now President for the second term you would not be a free country with a democracy.
There are more Caboverdianos in the USA then in any other country,we are well aware of what goes on in Cabo Verde,we know that Cabo verde has some problems but so do we in the USA but both countries are working to resolve there problems. We know that Cabo verde after 500 years of colonialism have much work to do,we can tell you that the economics of Cabo verde was derailed by the former government of MpD. Most of your utilities went back into the hands of your oppressors.
If you have any more complaints we will be glad to hear your case but please bring the facts not your wishes.
Caboverdianos have made great contributions to our country(USA) from the whaling industry and cranberry bogs and to our military and many other agencies within our system. We suggest you return home and help the people who need help. You are not helping your Cabo Verde Nation with these sob stories,if any thing we will send you a crying towel to wipe you tears. Last of all there are no concentration camps in Cabo verde that is an out right lie,so how much more lies are you telling.
