This morning I listen to the CD Nha Terra, Nha Kretcheu by Calu Bana
& Pai Eduardo.

The more I get into Cabo Verde music the more I learn about life and Cabo Verde history & culture.

There is so much great music by so many talented Caboverdianos. As I said before I can not name them all but this is what I will say about all of you.

It is said best in the 1 Thessalonians I will borrow some words that are written.

"We always thank Deus for all of you,mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our Deus and Pai your works produced by faith,your labor prompted by love,and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ".

"For we know,Brothers & Sisters loved by Deus,that he has chosen you,because our gospel came to you,not simply in words,but also with power,with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction."

"You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord;in spite of severe suffering,you welcomed the message with joy given by the Holy Spirit".

" They tell how you turned to Deus from idols to serve the living and true Deus, and to wait for his Son from heaven whom he raised from the dead--Jesus,who rescues us from the coming wrath."

"And we also thank Deus continually because,when you received the word of Deus,which you heard from us,you accepted it not as the word of men,
but as it actually is,the word of Deus, which is at work in you who believe."

In Psalm 40 it say this:

"I waited patiently for the Lord;and he inclined unto me,and heard my cry."

"He brought me up also out of an horrible pit,out of the miry clay,and set my feet upon a rock,and established my goings."

"And he hath put a new song in my mouth,even praise unto our Deus: many shall see it,and fear,and shall trust in the Lord."

"Blessed is that man and woman that maketh the Lord their trust,and respecteth not the proud,nor such as turn aside to Lies."

Isaiah 42 verse 9 & 10 & 11 says this:

"Behold,the former things are come to pass,and new things do I declare:before they spring forth I tell you of them.

"Sing unto the Lord a new song,and his praise from the end of the earth,ye that go down to the sea,and all that is therin;the isles,and the inhabitants thereof."

'Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice,the villages that Ke'dar doth inhabit:Let the inhabitants of the rock sing,Let them shout from the top of the mountains".

2Corinthians chp 5 verse 17 says this:

Therfore if any man be in Christ,he is a new creature: old things are passed away;behold all things are become new".

This is what Abel Jassi was all about in the final analysis;that is the reality and actuality of our morabeza for peace,love and harmony.

In the book of Isaiah chp 56 verse 7.

"Even them will I bring to my holy mountain,and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people".

In the New International Version it reads like this:

" Zacchaeus,come down immediately.I must stay at your house today."

What lesson do we get from all of this?

It is our unity our togetherness one for all and all for one.
