THE MEANING OF SCHOOL--AN ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES INSTRUCTION;THE PROCESS OF TEACHING OR LEARNING;A SOURCE OF KNOWLEDGE;A GROUP OF PERSONS WHO HOLD A COMMON DOCTRINE OR FOLLOW THE SAME TEACHER(AS IN PHILOSOPHY).

THERE ARE OTHER DEFINITIONS SUCH AS TO EDUCATE IN AN INSTITUTION OF LEARNING FOR THE UNITY AND COMMON GOOD FOR ALL.

THIS IS WHAT CONCERNS ME THE MOST.

IN TERMS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF CABO VERDE AND ITS PEOPLE.

THERE ARE SO MANY SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT WITH MANY VARIABLE OPINIONS.

HAVE OUR INTELLECT THAT IS TO SAY THE POWER OF SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE,BASED ON REALITY AND ACTUALITY BEEN DISTINGUISHED FROM THE POWER TO FEEL AND TO WILL THE CAPACITY FOR RATIONAL OR INTELLIGENT THOUGHT ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO THE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF CABO VERDE AND FOR THE WHOLESOME PROGRESS FOR OUR NATION.

CAN WE OVERCOME THE HUMAN WEAKNESS OF GREED AND TO INGRATIATE THE INDIVIDUAL SELF?

WHAT IS OUR SCHOOL OF THOUGHT FOR OUR UNITY?

WILL CABO VERDE SELL OUT TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER OR WILL WE MAKE SACRIFICES SO THAT WE CONTROL OUR ECONOMY AND OUR GROWTH OF DEVELOPMENT?

WILL CABO VERDE BECOME A PLAY GROUND FOR THE RICH AND THE FAMOUS AND FOR THE FEW CABOVERDIAN BOURGEOISIE?

NEOCOLONIALIST STATE?

WILL OUR WOMAN AND CHILDREN BECOME TOOLS OF NEGLIGENCE?

WHAT WILL WE DO TO OVER COME PROMISCUOUS BEHAVIOR.

WILL OUR SCHOOLS TEACH OUR CHILDREN THE DIGNITY AND THE INTEGRITY OF FIRM ADHERENCE TO A CODE OF MORAL AND ARTISTIC VALUES? THE QUALITY OF STATE OF HONESTY.

UPRIGHTNESS OF CHARACTER,INCORRUPTIBILITY.

WILL WE CONTINUE AS BEFORE IN A REVOLVING DOOR OF DESPAIR,
MAKING CORRUPTION FUN AND ACCEPTED PRACTICE BY TEACHING US THAT SATURDAY HAS NO SIN THAT SUNDAY CAN'T CURE.

TO BE VICTIMS OF THE PIE IN THE SKY AND A CROSS AROUND OUR NECK WHICH IS ONLY A SYMBOL OF SUFFEREING SHAME AND DEATH.

SCHOOL? WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL?

We have all heard of a school of fish this ought to be a lesson from nature.

They travel togther all going in the same direction,protecting each other.

Agroup of personswho hold a common doctrine or follow the same tacher (as in philosophy,or theology,the shared opinions of behavior.

To teach or dril in a specific knowledge or skill.

To have discipline in an institution of learning.

Instruction and guidance or a discipline derived from our experience.

One for all and all for one for our progress and development.

DIALECTIC-ECLECTIC-UNIVERSAL-SCIENCE (D.E.U.S.

The final call for all Caboverdianos for our unity and triumph and success.

We are now in a new stage of development for progress,we ar developing
and creating new tecnical skills in the new sceince,we are working to organize in every field of education,and health facilties.

YOU ALL KNOW WE STARTED VIRTUALLY FROM NOTHING,IN THE FACE OF REPRESSION,BUT TODAY WE ARE CLIMBING OUT OF THE CONDITIONS OF DESPAIR LITTLE BY LITTLE.

We have made progress but with progress comes many challenges.
We must root out the criminal elements in our mist,every honest and good Caboverdiano must work together to stop the depraved action that we see that is in our country and in our communities. Every man woman and child must act as a watch dog and report to the proper authorities when we see a wrong doing in our society in our village in our tabanka.

This is what I mean when I say that this is the work of Deus as taught by our lord Christ Jesus,not a pie in the sky but the reality inour country and in our homes. We will transform with a new education and build a
transformer to transcend that whih is vile.

In this day an time we can see that one of the great scientist from West Africa a great teacher and a great thinker with profound logic;reality and actuality,and with meticulous study directed our course and our cause.
Long live the memory of Amilcar Lopes Cabral (Abel Jassi) May we continue on his path of enlightenment and know that he is second to none,

How will we do this? We will take from all that is good,A.B.C.D.E.

Allah-Buddah-Christo-Deus-Elohim which will truly be Catholic in a universal dimension for a quality and magnitude making a complete personality in the spirit of all mankind for peace and harmony,this is the rebirth or being born again this is our responsibility in our resurrection and our revival to a new state one that has risen from the dead.

THIS IS THE RENAISSANCE FROM THE LAMP IN OUR PYRAMID.

My Dear Friends Camaradas Brother & Sisters.

We have many organizations and clubs,we have many talented educators
and teachers.
The real question is do we have a school that is educating our youth and our people in general the best way for our unity and understanding.
Do we have teaching centers,a place that we can meet and have the same subject matters on how we can be better men and woman.

Do we have a center's for development;that will teach creole and to help us to understand our culture a place that will teach us the values that we need to put us all in the same book and in the same page?

Do we have a center or many centers in the many Caboverdian communities that will help to eliminate the complexes created by degenerate and criminal irresponsible behavior?

Do we have cadres that will teach these classes?

It would seem to many of us that we should have reading on Amilcar Cabral and to be schooled on the many aspects of the struggle that help to bring about Independence in Guinea Bissau and Cabo Verde?

We should all be required to read Revolution In Guinea Selected Text Amilcar Cabral,Return To The Source By Amilcar Cabral,Unity & Struggle By Amilcar Cabral,Fortunate Isles A Study in African Transformation By Basil Davidson. In the back of the book Return To The Source there are many other books for further readings.

There is so much we need to learn for our enlightenment that will bring us closer together for our unity;there is much we need to be taught about what is going on in Cabo Verde and with the people of Cabo verde on a global scale.

Some of these classes could be held at the churches in the basement or in CV clubs and organizations. Small classes could be held in small gatherings.

Black board,folding chairs that would not demand any real cost. Every one of course would have to buy there own books,and if you get them in volume they are cheaper.

The classes need to be uniformly the same.

Utilisation of all good values which will advance our development at the grass roots and to help reform and transform to pride and dignity.

TO TEACH LEADERSHIP QUALITIES TO OUR YOUNG PEOPLE.

There are so many other things that can be done to teach and inform and I am sure that it would be fun.

We could teach citizenship. We could teach CV history and to elaborate on the culture of Cabo Verde. This should all be controlled so that we would all receive the same benefits of our training.

We are sure it could be done with the cooperation of the Minister of Culture & Minister of Education.

How many people have read or have a copy of The Constitution of The Republic of Cabo Verde. How many people read the excerpts from the speech given By His Excellency,Dr. Amilcar Spencer Lopes speaker of the National assembly of Cabo Verde at the closing ceremony of the second Extraordinary Legislative Sesssion of The lV legislature,In 1992,during which the Constitution of The Republic of Cabo Verde was adopted?

There is a lesson for all of us,that should also be a step in our enlightenment to our education and to our unity. It is the first important book that came out of our democracy.

It give the meaning of the logo of the present flag and our National Symbols;and much more information that will help us to be more unified.

Well that is something to think about.

We need to work more diligently and close ranks in our politics and become as one to get things done for the advancement of our people in unity for the progress for the economy. Our transformation is knowing we are a team,we are an Army moveing together under the leadership of those chosen by our democratic process,we must be one for all and all for one.
