For those of you who are able to, please don't forget to go vote on November 7th for Deval Patrick. Deval just made history by winning the Democratic primary race for Governor of Massachusetts, the first African American to have ever done so. Deval is an extremely intelligent and understanding person. And he needs your support(vote) for the November 7th general election.

In addition, Deval Patrick is a great friend of Cape Verdeans. He appreciates our more than two hundred years of positive contribution to the state of Massachusetts. Once Deval Patrick becomes Governor, I have no doubt that he will acknowledge this fact by helping you, your family and Cabo Verde as a whole. But this can only become a reality if you vote for him on November 7.

The winds of change are here!

It's time to have somebody up there that really cares about the people of Massachusetts instead of their Beacon Hill friends and connections. And that person is Deval Patrick. Kerry Healey is a millionaire that has no clue of what the common people of this commonwealth goes through. She doesn't even know what's getting stuck on Boston traffic because she wrongly use her position as leiutenant Governor to get the State Police scorting her for her personal business.

Isn't it funny how Kerry Healey is coming out with this list of, as she calls it, 50 "tough, smart solutions to change Massachusetts?"
Well, where were all theses "50 smart solutions" during her 4 years of Lieutenant Governor? Why didn't she implement them while there?
Or did she just wake up yesterday and all these magic solutions come straight from the heaven and land on her hands?

We should analyze at what the Healey-Romney team actually did for Massachusetts while in power:

- supported to cut millions of dollars from education funds they would leave urban schools without much resources

- take away millions of dollars from city programs that would hire more police officers and thus keep our families and streets safer

- supports huge tax brakes to their friends, greedy corporations and millionaires like them and so pass the burden of financing public tax funded services to the working class of this Commonwealth

- cut millions of dollars from youth and after schools program to make the State budget look good and consequently increase youth violence and degradation in large urban communities of Boston, Worchester, New Bedford, Fall River, Springfield and other inner-cities communities she really does not give a damn of the lives of our kids and teens that have been taken away due to violence

- etc, etc.

In fact, I would spend hours and hours if I go on listening the more that 50 stupid mistakes Healey did or supported during her four year of leadership disaster that has caused massive exodus of people from this State that could not afford to live her anymore because Healey and her friends want to make Massachusetts a place for the privileged and rich people like them.

In short, Healey's list of 50 supposedly “tough, smart solutions to change Massachusetts” is what's called bullshit politics. And this is what the people of Massachusetts said they are tired of when they gave Deval an astonishing win in all the precincts in Mass. And this is what the people of Massachusetts will tell Healey and all these millionaires in politics that don't care about the real people and just serve their friends and personal interest when in power on November 7th.

Dear Cabo Verdianos and Cabo Verdianas,

On November 7 you will have the opportunity to be part of history when you elect Deval Patrick as the next Governor of the Great state of Massachusetts. Deval Patrick will help you and your family get to the next higher level where you want to get. So don't forget to vote on November 7 for Deval Patrick and do remind all of your friends and family members who are registered voters to do the same because together we can make a difference for the better.

It's only a matter of hours now, untill you help elect one of our own, Deval Patrick, as the next governor of Massachusetts. So, by all means, please do go to the polls and take your registered voter friends and family with you. This is history in the making and you are a part of it.
