MY THOUGHTS AND SUGGESTION ARE THAT A BOOKLET SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT INTO YOUR SHIRT POCKET ABOUT 100 PAGES THAT WILL INFORM,EDUCATE THE CABOVERDIAN PEOPLE. A SHORT SUMMARY OF HISTORY CULTURE,WHO WE ARE WHAT WE WANT AND WHERE WE INTEND TO GO. .

MAO TSE TUNG HAD HIS RED BOOK, KWAME NKRUMAH HAD HAD HIS BLACK BOOK CALLED CONSCIOUSISM OR AXIONMS OF NKRUMAH. CABO VERDE COULD HAVE ITS LIVRE VERDE THIS WAY EVERY CABOVERDIANO WOULD HAVE SOMETHING CONCRETE TO HOLD IN THEIR HANDS AS A STUDY GUIDE.

TO SUPPORT THE CABOVERDEAN COMMUNITY WORLD WIDE AND TO PROMOTE IN ITS MIDST THE PRESERVATION AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CABOVERDEAN CULTURE.

TO CREATE,PROGRESSIVELY THE NECESSARY CONDITIONS FOR THE TRANSFORMATION AND MODERNIZATION OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL STRUCTURES, SO AS TO MAKE THE ECONOMIC,SOCIAL AND CULTURAL
RIGHTS EFFECTIVE.

TO FORMENT EDUCATION,CULTURE,SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION,THE DISSEMINATION AND THE UTILIZATION OF NEW TECNOLOGIES,AS WELL AS THE DISSEMINATION OF THE CABOVERDEAN CULTURE IN THE WORLD.

THESE ARE NOT MY WORDS THEY ARE WRITTEN IN THE CABO VERDE
CONSTITUTION BY THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY WHICH WAS APPROVED 5 AUGUST 1992.

SEEMS TO ME LIKE A GOOD PLACE TOO START UNLESS THERE ARE CHANGES I DON'T KNOW ABOUT.

LET US BE SOBER MINDED ABOUT THIS. WHAT I AM PROPOSING WE HAVE BOKLET THAT WILL BE AN INSPIRATIONAL GUIDE.

THERE ARE SOME ISSUES THAT ARE JUST RIGHT IN TERMS OF THE PEOPLE OF CABO VERDE WHICH IS BI PARTISAN REGARDLESS WHO SAYS IT OR PUT IT INTO PRACTICE IT SERVES THE NEEDS OF ALL OUR PEOPLE. TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION I THINK IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING. I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS FOR MANY YEARS I AM GLAD TO SEE THAT THEY HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT.

THIS WILL SERVE ALL PARTIES BECAUSE IT WILL SERVE ALL THE PEOPLE. WE NEED TO PUT IT INTO PRACTICE YESTERDAY.

I THINK YOU WILL FIND THAT THIS IS A DEMOCRATIC ISSUE IN WHICH THERE IS NO OPPOSITION AND NO HOSTILITY.

IT WILL ADVANCE THE STRUGGLE FOR UNITY MORE WAYS THEN ONE.

EUREKA WE HAVE FOUND A GUIDE TO OUR BALANCE.

THE PEOPLE OF THE REPUBLIC OF CABO VERDE ARE UNITED IN THIS EDUCATION AND ENLIGHTENMENT.

We hope that the people in Cabo Verde regardless what party they belong too would consider one objective and one thought and that is what is it we can all agree upon in terms of Cabo Verde Nationalism the center in which will help to unite us as a people in terms of the philosophy of life.

A discipline comprising as it core logic and a general understanding of values and reality an analysis of the grounds of an concept expressing foundamental belief,that which is universal that emphasize human life.

A form or standard of epistemology based on the reality of the past present and the future. Actuality based on the science of human life for progress and to advance our unity for peace and harmony.

We know that folk around the world have many systems of there belief or as some might call there religion and some cultures live life based on the reality of what the laws that men have created by their experience in what ever time and age of laws they said was handed down or given to what they call God or Allah or Deus or Buddha, Jesus or Moses and so on.

Many books that are called Holy regardles by what ever name. The facts is what we do know there has never been peace on earth;unless it was a time before man.and we don't know that.

How do we propose to initiate and bringing about a new manner or method?
The only group of people that don't initiate war that I have found are the Buddhist unless some one can tell me or show me something different.

It would seem to me that if we took the best of each and dealt with love peace and kindness and discipline of responsibility in terms of moral behavior and let that be our guide and that all people who would come to Cabo verde will be welcome in a society of morabeza and kindness.

In order to do that we must find our balance our conscience.

There is so much drama and hype with so many religions that it looses the emphasis of the meaning of what it should be that is being good and kind to your fellow man. So much of it seems to be based on vanity.

Rather then to do what it is suppose to be; Gods will; it become the will of man look at me, and man thinks he is God.

In each and every one of them we can find something positive,but it does not mean that one is better then the other. What makes it all real is, again kindness a quality of courtesy,doing good,free from injury.Honorable.

There are two words that give meaning, what many like to call righteousness and the other is responsibility and I think that they are synonymous.

We hear the word often about sin and what do we really mean when we say sin,in a nut shell to sin means to miss the mark that is not to hit the bulls eye of doing what is right or being responsible.

Now that brings us into the realm of man and the evolution process of mind and discipline and self control of ones personal behavior to self and to others. Lord knows we have all sinned at one time or another.
I guess that is why it is said that all have fallen short of the glory of God and that all our righteouness is like a filthy rag. No not one is righteous.

Maybe it is what we eat or maybe it is what we don't eat,perhaps it is the ecology or that we have still a long way to go in our evolvement.

You can call your self a Muslim,Jew,Christian,athiest or agnostic etc as humans we still are in a state of growth.

The one thing that I do know that we all have incommon and that we must have that is the breath of life.

Perhaps if we just take the first 5 letters of the alphabet that is A,B,C,D,E
Allah,Buddha,Christo,Deus,Elohim and the love that is and not the retribution and see reward instead of punishment in retrospect evil has its
penalty built in for any offense for doing wrong or vile.

I like very much in the book of Romans what it says in Chapter 12,13,14 and 15. There are certainly other wondeful sayinging in other books and other suras or sutras.

Again I say take what is best out of each that speak of love,kindness,peace and harmony and make a new contract or a document as a guide,that will serve us as a nation of peace,for peace.

Some people say we need more prayer but some who pray have been some of the most fiercest barbarous warriors,cruel and criminal and full of deception.

I have in my studies found that there is a common thread in most of the religous books one human character one personality that is called by different names in different cultures and that name is the name of Jesus,some times called Isa,or Malik Ahmad (Muhammed)Jehovah,Buddha, Christ,Baghwand,Lord or God.Each have a great meaning

There is one that I like a lot that is those who have coined the saying
"Grande focus Vida de Universe Forca Superior Astral"

Then of course there is the ten commandments the practical laws which we all find so difficult to live by because of our sinful nature. I wonder why that is? Sinful to waste,to be at fault,an offense against moral law,often serious short coming.

Then we have the (PERFECT) THAT IS ENTIRELY WITHOUT FAULT.
SATISFYING ALL REQUIREMENTS

THE EXPERT WHO IS DRESSED IN LONG FLOWING ROBES OR WITH HIS COLLAR TURNED BACKWARDS OR A SPECIAL SHAWL AROUND THEIR NECKS OR SOME KIND OF SYMBOL AROUND THERE NECK. LOOK AT ME AND FOLLOW ME I AM WITH THE SAVIOR. OR MAYBE JUST IN A SUIT BUT A VERY EXPENSIVE SUIT LIVING VERY GOOD WITHOUT WANT.

A big Church or a Temple or a Mosque opulence in style to say the least. But Isa Ibn Yusef (Jesus) was born in a barn with annimals,what an interesting contraposition. Unless you are from the very poor and have a store front and fleece the peasantry because you believe in the story of the glory. It is not without money$$$$. Giving alms Charity. Salesmanship to heaven.

On top of that we are told by many of them this wonderful child did not have and earthly father,I wonder if any one try to tell Jesus that Joseph was not his Dad. Wait a minute this is not blasphemy,what happen to reality and actuality.? Just because you don't know the answer because of our ignorance,we create a myth. Well in that case we are all children of the heavenly father from that Deus from up above..

God sent his own son? Who is God?
We all can have dreams and visions
I do think that Jesus is a very good example of a teacher as well as the great teacher Gautama called the Buddha as a matter of fact the more deeper and mindful I get into the teachings I find that both the Buddha and Emanuel(Jesus) are one and the same and I do think that Jesus when he was missing all those years that he was in the company of the Buddhas Monks. Well perhaps they were not the same but they are similar.

Ok.there are those who will argure that Buddha and Christ are not similar,
the Buddha's father was a king and came from a wealthy family,but on the other hand if we take what some teachers of christianity are saying that Jesus father in heaven was a King and ruler of his world and wealthy,and was sent to be with the poor and to help humanity,could we not say that Buddha came from a King in heaven and left to serve the poor and humanity?
It all depends who is telling the story?

Each time and different era in history, the scope of a concept in the cosmos a complex ordely self-inclusive system,certain men who truly gave themselves to help to protect humanity from harm have made contribution to our salvation.
Salvation means to protect from harm.

I will suggest that for those students who are concern that you might also want to read (OLD PATH WHITE CLOUDS) By Thich Nhat Hanh. Also very good reading is his book (The Living Buddha The Living Christ).

In terms of our studies for greater enlightenment There is so much but may I suggest that you also read Romans chapter 8 & 9. Be very open minded and at this time I am asking that you apply this to Cabo Verde

There is also much we can learn from reading The Qur'an.

WE KNOW THAT CABO VERDE HAS GONE TRU MANY CHANGES IN THE LAST 500 YEARS AND FROM ISLAND TO ISLAND IT WAS LIKE LIVING IN A CONCENTRATION CAMP AND THE FENCE THAT KEPT YOU IN WAS THE OCEAN. WHAT WE HAVE TODAY IS THE SPOIL OF THE PLUNDERING,BANDITRY,GRAFTING,THIEVERY OF HUMANS AND ENSLAVEMENT.

A BREED OF A NEW PEOPLE BORN(CABOVERDIANOS) FROM A REVOLTING,EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR THAT TOOK PLACE FROM ISLAND TO ISLAND. THAT WAS THEN AND HEAR WE ARE NOW.

LIKE THE STORY OF THE PHOENIX WE WHO WERE; ON THOSE ISLANDS,LIVED 500 YEARS BURNED INTO WHAT IS CALLED ASHES (PYRE) BURNING OF BODIES. AND TODAY WE RISE ALIVE FROM THOSE ASHES.

A NEW PEOPLE TO LIVE IN ANOTHER PERIOD A NEW DAY IN OUR RESURRECTION.

IT SHOULD BE A LIBRARY WITH MATERIALS ABOUT CABO VERDE.

A LEARNING CENTER ABOUT CABO VERDE& UNITY OF THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY.

THAT WHICH WILL GIVE GUIDANCE AND INSTRUCTIONS.

TO GUARANTEE THE RESPECT FOR THE DEMOCRACY OF THE USA& CABO VERDE.
