Common Threads, as the USA representative to the Congresso de Quadros executive committee , is proud to extend an invitation to you to participate in the 4th Congresso de Quadros conference, “A Diáspora Cabo-Verdiana e o desenvolvimento de Cabo Verde: Uma Questão de Cidadania”, to be held in Praia, Cabo Verde from April 19-22, 2006.
The overall theme and focus of the conference is the role that the Diaspora plays in the development of the country. Common Threads is working to outreach and mobilize the Cape Verdean communities throughout the USA to attend and participate in this international conference uniting Cape Verdeans from all over the world. We are looking at establishing a US delegation and are hoping that you will be part of the US team traveling to Cabo Verde for this historic conference.
